Wolverine and the X-Men review-ish [Sep. 14th, 2008|09:16 pm]
Well I gotta say: The old 90's X-Men cartoon finally got itself a worthy successor. Not that X-Men Evolution wasn't any good; but it wasn't good enough. The new Wolverine and the X-men series is what I would consider excellent. Unlike X-Men Evolution, Evolution being the buzzword they used to market it to kids who liked Pokemon, this series has well balanced elements that appeal to both kids and adults alike. The animation and character designs also impressed the hell out of me. They fall somewhere between traditional U.S. animation and Japanese Anime. This series isn't available in the U.S. yet but I got my grubby mitts on anyway, because I'm that damn resourceful. You can also find it broken up into parts on youtube. It's worth your time if you're into X-Men.
